Dr. James Olson
Dr. James Olson, a native of Aberdeen, South Dakota, graduated from Central High School in 1962, from Northern State University in 1966 and later attended the University of Houston, College of Optometry, graduating in 1970. After three years of private practice in Aberdeen, Dr. Olson elected to serve his country in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1977 as a staff optometrist. He returned to Aberdeen in 1977 joining Dr. Gordon Bell in the development of Vision Care Associates.
Dr. Olson is a past president of the South Dakota Optometric Society, past president of the State Board of Optometry, member of the South Dakota Optometric Society and of the American Optometric Association. His personal interests include hunting, golf and horticulture.
