 Dr. Billars is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, member of the South Dakota Optometry Society, and a member of the American Optometric Association. His personal interests include athletic activities, boating, and spending time with family and grandchildren. Dr. Tom Billars Dr. Tom Billars, a native of Stickney, South Dakota, was a basketball standout at Dakota Wesleyan University and president of the student association. After graduation, he attended Pacific University College of Optometry, graduating in 1972. After practicing a short time in Mitchell, South Dakota, he moved to Sioux Falls where he has been in private practice since 1978, eventually joining Vision Care Associates in 2004. Dr. Billars' professional interests include family vision, contact lenses, and ocular disease management. |
